In the past, being in a Multi-Level Marketing company
meant mailing out letters, calling friends, holding meetings,
even knocking on doors. A lot of people felt uncomfortable
with that. Some even felt like they were being pests and
spoiling longtime relationships with friends, family, and
associates.
The Internet is changing that. The on-line world is
designed for the solo-operator or independent distributor.
Email, web sites, and newsgroups give individuals the
power of a major mass media. This is a terrific development
for the small business person.
MLM companies are finding that the advantage is perfect
for their independent distributors. By combining the power
of the Internet with a strong product line, company training,
and (in many cases) a known trade name; independent
distributors have the power of a much, much larger
business.
As the Internet develops and is used by more and more
people, watch for old businesses that suddenly find they
have a huge advantage on the Internet. Many of these
businesses will be "reborn."
