Opinion : I think the essential factor that ensures the success of a business is sensitivity --- to people, the environment, the competition, the nation, and the world. Thus a business entity needs to be wholistic in its approach to planning and implementation of programs.

Opinion : 1. Know when to cut its losses and downgrade or move on to another business venture. 2. Know when to maximise its service/product status and marketability by moving on to next customer-friendly, technological wave. This should be done when the business appears to be doing well.

Opinion : There are several things that go into the future success of a business. First, you need to do an enormous amount of advertising/marketing and see which works and which doesn't. Once you find out which works best, keep pushing that and try to modify to make it even better. Then, once you have these people coming in that you are targeting, you must keep them by giving them a great product or service, and most importantly great customer service. Customer service is probably the best way to differentiate your business from another business that sells the same product/service. Also, a business must not only focus on getting in new customers (which most do) but they must focus on keeping those customers that they already have. It is much easier and cheaper to keep your old customers coming back than it is to get new loyal customers. As I am only 20 years old, I do not know this stuff from personal experience. All I know is that when i do have my own business in the future, I will be using these strategies.
